Are you certain that you brush your teeth properly? Everybody has developed their personal hygiene habits, but there is nearly always room for improvement. There are always little tips that you can follow that will improve how you brush your teeth.

For example, you probably know you should brush twice a day—but did you know you should start in a different section of your mouth each time. If you overlook this important step, you may miss certain areas. By switching where you start brushing, you’re more likely to reach these areas.

Similarly, please remember that it’s important that you brush for two minutes at a time. However, you should probably avoid brushing longer than two minutes, because brushing for too long can also damage your gums and enamel. Also, please don’t brush too hard. Doing so can also damage your gums and enamel. To ensure that your brushing isn’t too hard, we recommend using the right toothbrush. When you purchase your brush, choose one with soft bristles.

Finally, it is extremely important that you care for your toothbrush properly. You should replace your toothbrush at least once every four months, and your brush should be left out to air dry in an open space after each use.
